New Mexico State quarterback Diego Pavia managed to get a pass off Saturday night with his helmet turned backward due to a facemask violation by a UMass defender.
Despite being completely blinded, Pavia still at least attempted a pass late in the game. Of course, the officials called the obvious facemask penalty so Pavia essentially had a free play.
