Is this the end of halftime fan contests at sporting events?
Hopefully not, but a Los Angeles Lakers fan somehow managed to injure himself during a half-court shooting contest on Sunday.
The fan grabbed his leg and went to the court shortly after taking his contest shot for $55,000.

There was better news for the Lakers in the game as they defeated the Rockets 105-104.
LeBron James scored a game-high 37 points. Anthony Davis added 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
