Watch: Division III team scores 6 points in 5 seconds for amazing win

One of the most improbable endings of the year happened in an NCAA Division III game earlier to night.

New Jersey City University trailed Rowan University 71-67 with just 5.2 seconds to go. The Gothic Knights nailed a three-pointer to cut the lead to 71-70 with 2.8 seconds to play.

Rowan attempted to throw it in but the pass was deflected by an NJCU defender. Another NJCU player grabbed the loose ball and this happened:

NJCU won the game 73-71 and the announcer’s head almost exploded. That is just an amazing finish. Congrats to NJCU on the miraculous win.
