I’m not buying any rumors that can’t be backed up with a creditable source. But, it’s out there. And surprisingly, it’s not getting much play from the haters.
I think most team’s fans are scared to give our team any sort of ammunition to use in the big dance.
I’m sure they’re all hoping this is true, but would rather keep quiet about it just in case it is not.
Also the ‘Cats are getting a lot of heat after the FL game about how they’re too young and inexperienced to win a national title.
There’s nothing like some unsubstantiated rumors and doubt of talent to motivate a team to tear through their opponents. Personally, I don’t think this sort of talk could have come at a better time. We need some motivation right about now.
