Hailing from Miami, Florida, this powerful forward played four seasons at Kentucky from 1990-94. As a sophomore, Gimel witnessed in person the Greatest Game Ever Played and could bring his unique perspective to a potential Kentucky vs. Duke title game. He scored a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds, powering Kentucky past Alabama in 1992.
