Fighting through inaugural jitters, Anthony Davis and John Wall managed to steal the spotlight from some of the NBA’s brightest stars for a few moments on the NBA’s biggest stage. Davis noted it was the most nervous he had been since the 2012 NCAA championship game.
Fresh off his win in the Sprite Dunk Contest, John Wall scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in his first All-Star appearance. The East beat the West 163-155 behind MVP Kyrie Irving’s 31 points and 14 assists.
Hear what Wall had to say about the experience:
Anthony Davis finished the night with 10 points and 2 steals in the West’s loss.

Good news on John’s mother:
John Wall said after the game that his mother is improving & was released from the hospital this afternoon. So a good day for him #wizards
