For the second time this season a crew of officials from the SEC have blown a call against Kentucky. The first one was the no call on the delay of game penalty at Florida, one that may have cost Kentucky the game.
Saturday in the first quarter against South Carolina, the ball was snapped over the head of quarterback Dylan Thompson. Thompson and Kentucky defensive end Bud Dupree both fell on the ball, with Dupree coming out of the pile with the football in his hand and Kentucky should have the ball with good field position.
The officials reviewed the play gave the ball to South Carolina, when it should have plainly been Kentucky’s ball.
