It was reported yesterday that Kentucky head coach John Calipari was a candidate to be interviewed for the vacant Los Angeles Lakers head coaching job. Last night WHAS11 reporter Renee Murphy was able to talk to Coach Cal about the rumors. Calipari says he has a great job and Kentucky is where he wants to be. Today Coach Calipari had successful hip surgery. The Big Blue Nation can rest now that Cal is healthy and staying at UK.
