Vanderbilt snatched a devastating NCAA Tournament loss from the jaws of victory earlier tonight.
The Commodores hit a shot to take a 66-65 lead over Northwestern with 11.8 seconds to play. For whatever reason, Matthew Fisher-Davis didn’t realize his team had the lead and intentionally fouled a Northwestern player. Northwestern nailed both free throws and eventually won the game 68-66.

That foul was worse than Chris Webber's timeout.
