What do Vanderbilt fans do when they get the biggest win in the history of their football program?
Naturally, they tear down the goalposts and take them to Broadway.
Following Vandy’s stunning 40-35 win over No. 1 Alabama, the first top 5 win in the program’s history, fans took a goalpost to Nashville’s hottest party street. Eventually, it ended up in the Cumberland River.

The goalpost was later retrieved by city officials:
