Utah Player Uses Jedi Force Push on Oregon’s Dillon Brooks

A Utah player apparently used Jedi force push on Oregon’s Dillon Brooks last night.

Obviously, using the force in a game is against basketball rules (on every planet except Coruscant), so a foul was called.

Watch as Brooks goes flying:

What is Force Push? According to Wookiepedia:

A key Force ability, the Force push is both an offensive and defensive technique. It is employed primarily by Jedi but also used by the Sith, and is accomplished with a forward hand gesture. Force pushes can range in intensity from simple movements to dangerous, powerful shoves that can disorient and harm opponents in battle.

Since Star Wars is fiction, we’re going to call it like we see it…Brooks had one of the worst flops in the history of college basketball. He should be suspended for a half.

Even Tennessee’s Lew Evans is shaking his head at this pathetic display by Brooks.
