The United States men’s national team dominated Mexico 3-0 late last night to advance to Sunday’s Nations League final against Canada.
Christian Pulisic scored two goals and Ricardo Pepi came off the bench late to add another for the Americans in a match that was marred by chaos.
Four players, two from each team, were red-carded and ejected in a second half that included everything from fighting to anti-gay chants by Mexican fans.

In all, the match featured 34 fouls (17 by each side), 4 red cards, 4 ejections, 8 yellow cards, 1 ripped jersey, stoppages for anti-gay slur by Mexican fans, Mexican fans throwing trash on the field, Mexican fans shining lasers on the American goalkeeper, 2 fights and proof that the United States has clearly passed Mexico as the best team in CONCACAF.
