The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men’s Basketball team looked to get back to their winning ways on Saturday as they traveled to take on the Patriots of St. Catharine College. Although UC would trail at halftime 38-30, it was a great 2nd half rally that would ultimately give the Patriots of Cumberlands the win over St. Catharine 76-69. With the victory, UC moves to 8-1 on the season and 3-1 in Mid-South Conference play.
BY THE NUMBERS
· Chance Armstrong (Mt. Washington, KY) would lead the Patriots in the win with 19 points and 5 rebounds.
· Xavier Owens (Tampa, FL) also chipped in 18 points and 4 rebounds for the Patriots.
· Michael Dow (Melbourne, Australia) added 11 points for UC in the win.
· Tony Bradley (Alton, IL) pitched in 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in the victory.
· UC shot an impressive 50.9% from the field in the win.
