The United States women’s national team just edged Brazil 1-0 to claim gold at the Olympics for the first time since 2012.
Mallory Swanson scored the game-winning goal in the 57th minute and U.S. goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher denied the Brazilians a tying goal late.
