It turns out that Flightline really is that horse. The unbeaten superstar simply destroyed the loaded field in the Breeder’s Cup Classic Saturday at Keeneland.
The win left Flightline with a perfect six-for-six race record and just under $5 million in career winnings.
After the race, Flightline’s ownership announced that he is retiring to stud at Lane’s End Farm, where the real money will begin.
