There were 14 games around the league on Wednesday. Let’s get to the highlights.

DeMarcus Cousins turned in his first double-double performance of the season, going for 30 points and 14 rebounds in the Kings’ season-opening win over the Nuggets.

Patrick Patterson had 3 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals in the win. Chuck Hayes pulled in 4 boards and a steal for the Kings.

Jodie Meeks had 14 points and 3 rebounds in 22 minutes in a start for the Lakers on Wednesday. Warriors beat the Lakers 125-94.

Eric Bledsoe recorded 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the Suns’ 104-91 win over the Blazers. Archie Goodwin was scoreless in his 8 minute NBA debut.

John Wall finished with 20 points, 2 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals in the Wizards’ 113-102 loss to the Pistons.

Anthony Davis is poised for a breakout season. He had 20 points and 12 rebounds in a tough 95-90 opening night loss to the Pacers. He also dropped this soaring one-handed alley-oop:

Thunder held off the Jazz 101-98. Enes Kanter turned in a strong season debut, logging 14 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block in 29 minutes.

Tayshaun Prince scored 9 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in a 101-94 loss to Spurs.

Brandon Knight strained his right hamstring in the opening minutes of the Bucks opener. Knight played just 2 minutes against the Knicks and pulled in one rebound.

MKG had 7 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal. The Bobcats dropped the opener to Houston 96-83.

The Sixers pulled off a surprising 114-110 win over the Heat. Daniel Orton chipped in 4 points, 1 rebound, 1 block and 1 steal in his 15 minutes of play.
