The UK football team has added a wide receiver who was previously committed to Wisconsin.
Marvin Robinson has apparently joined the Wildcats after not qualifying at Wisconsin and sitting out one season.
Robinson also had offers from Florida State, Indiana, Minnesota, Akron and Florida A&M.
According to Larry Vaught:
Robinson had 36 catches for 559 yards and two scores his senior season. He had scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Florida State, Indiana, Minnesota, Akron and Florida A&M. He was set to go to Wisconsin but apparently did not qualify academically and sat out last season.
The 6-4, 175-pound Robinson was considered a “sleeper” coming out of high school but played on a high school team loaded with Division I talent. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 or 4.5 seconds (depends on which scouting report you read) and also has superb athleticism.
