Wildcats making noise in social media
LEXINGTON, Ky. – With the recent additions of men’s basketball (@KentuckyMBB), women’s soccer (@UKWomensSoccer) and swimming and diving (@UKSwimDive), all 22 sports at the University of Kentucky now have a presence on Twitter across 16 different official team accounts.
A recent unofficial online count found 11 of UK’s sports ranked in the top 25 of their respective Twitter category.
Men’s and women’s basketball, men’s soccer, track and field and volleyball are all ranked in the top five for their respective sports, while rifle has the most followers among collegiate rifle programs.
