John Calipari congratulated Maxey on social media.
“I talked to Tyrese last night and congratulated him,” Calipari said on his social media accounts. “What amazes me is he’s still the same great person we recruited out of Dallas. Same smile. Same demeanor. When you talk to him, you feel better. Can’t wait to see him in person at a game soon!!”
