Tyler Ulis nearly leads “comeback for the ages”

Tyler Ulis got off to a slow start in the matchup between two of Illinois’ top-rated point guards. Ulis scored 18 of his 23 points in the 4th quarter, nearly leading Marian Catholic to an astonishing comeback.

Stevenson’s Jalen Brunson on Ulis:

“Tyler is a very good point guard, a very good player period,” said Brunson, who was 9-for-15 from the field and 11-for-14 from the line. “I think he has the complete package. He can do everything. I try to model some of his game (after his). He is such a good defender. “
