Two Indiana Players Suspended for 9 Games for Improper Benefits

Indiana University will be without two players when the season begins and for a total of 9 games of the regular season.

Indiana freshmen Peter Jurkin and Hanner Mosquera-Perea have been suspended nine games by the NCAA for receiving improper benefits, the school announced Tuesday.

The university is appealing the length of the suspensions.

The suspensions are as a result of improper benefits received from Indiana Elite coach Mark Adams. The benefits would have permissible except Adams was considered a donor because he gave $185 to the IU program between 1986-92. Source

Of course, Indiana fans are blaming and taking out their anger on John Calipari.
