Tony Parker Says UK Has "a Good Shot" at Landing Him

In his first diary entry with ESPN, 2012 big man Tony Parker chronicles his recruitment process and takes some time to discuss a few of the schools he is considering.

Parker had a number of complimentary things to say about Kentucky:
”Kentucky is a great basketball state and they are crazy about the Wildcats in Lexington. I’m also very close with UK commit Alex Poythress, who was my AAU teammate this past summer on great Georgia Stars. He also tries to recruit me to Kentucky of course and I have played with him a lot, so our chemistry is unbelievable which gives them a good shot.”

UCLA still seems to be the more likely destination for Parker, but it’s obvious that Calipari and Co. have made up some major ground in his recruitment in a very short period of time.
