In late July, Tim Tebow was in the on-deck circle for the Class A Port St. Lucie Mets.
Tebow left the on-deck circle to shake a young autistic kid’s hand, which clearly made the kid’s day. Tebow then went to bat and blasted a three-run homer to opposite field.

I know Tebow has a Florida past, but things like this are why you should cheer for him now.
Tebow has been in a slump the last week or so, but his numbers at St. Lucie have been impressive so far.
Will we see him in New York one day?
