Kentucky outside linebacker Alvin “Bud” Dupree was picked by the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 22nd overall selection of the NFL Draft.
I am a Bengals fan and I was hoping they would pick Bud, but the team I hate the most picked him instead.
Dupree’s 4.56 second 40 yard dash time and 42 inch vertical jump wowed everyone at the NFL Draft combine and was a big reason for his selection in the 1st round.
Bud is the highest Kentucky Football player to be drafted since Dewayne Robertson went #4 in 2003.
Kentucky has now had 15 football players drafted since 2005.

Defensive end Za’Darius Smith has been projected in Round 3 or 4.
Offensive guard Darrian Miller is projected in Round 5 or 6 and Braylon Heard could be taken in Round 6 or 7.
