By now, most of you are aware that freshman Braxton Beverly has been ruled ineligible for this season at North Carolina State because he actually enrolled in summer classes at Ohio State before transferring.
Long story short…Beverly committed to Thad Matta at OSU, OSU administration said Matta was in no danger of losing his job, Beverly enrolled in summer classes, OSU suddenly fired Matta, Beverly decided to transfer to N.C. State and the NCAA decided he was ineligible because he actually went to classes for a few weeks.
Amazingly, the NCAA ruled Beverly ineligible even after reading this letter from Matta:
I’ve now obtained the letter Thad Matta sent to the NCAA in support of Braxton Beverly. How could a decent person read this and still deny? pic.twitter.com/2gRMHb5jMJ
