The NBA season kicked off last night and there were a couple of former Kentucky Wildcats who started the task at hand of trying to help their teams to the NBA playoffs.
Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans had a rough start to the 2015-16, as they opened with the defending World Champion Golden State Warriors and reigning MVP Steph Curry.
The Pelicans lost 111-95 to the Warriors as Davis had a rough time shooting the basketball, He finished with 16 points on 4 for 20 shooting, 10 for 15 from the foul line, grabbed 6 rebounds and blocked 3 shots in the losing effort.

The Detroit Pistons came out with a 106-94 win over the Atlanta Hawks to start their season. Former Wildcat Jodie Meeks played a little over 10 minutes and scored 2 points on 1-4 shooting and did not attempt a 3 point shot.
