According to The Field of 68 crew, Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebwe is not a first team All-American right now.
The crew named eight players and didn’t even mention Tshiebwe, the reigning National Player of the Year, during their discussion.
The three players they have listed as locks right now are Zach Edey, Jalen Wilson and Brandon Miller. Other players mentioned were Drew Timme, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Markquis Nowell, Tyler Kolek and Jalen Pickett.
Oscar Tshiebwe is currently averaging 16.5 points and 13.6 rebounds per game. He also leads Kentucky in blocked shots (19) and is second on the team in steals (32).
The Field of 68 panel who had this discussion were noted Kentucky haters Tyler Hansbrough and Jeff Goodman, along with Terrence Oglesby.
