Southeastern Conference referees almost altered the outcome of today’s game with the ridiculous flagrant foul that was called on Kentucky’s P.J. Washington.
Washington went up for a block but only made it to Horance Spencer’s wrist. Spencer then fell to the floor, where he suffered a cut above his eye.

Not sure how this was called a flagrant foul. PJ Washington blocked Horace Spencer at the rim, then Spencer fell hard on his face pic.twitter.com/s7JwCshkCj

My view of Kentucky forward PJ Washington's flagrant foul call on Auburn forward Horace Spencer as Kentucky defeats Auburn 82-80. Spencer left the game with a cut above his eye but returned later. more photos: https://t.co/X9z4w1iPVS pic.twitter.com/g2wGcLsNlF

Even Myron Medcalf and Jeff Goodman said it was a bad call:
If you’re going to call this a flagrant foul then you better do that the rest of the season. PJ Washington was making a play on the ball. It was a hard foul but it was not excessive. You call that nonsense today, you’d better do it the rest of the way.

Wow. Flagrant called on PJ Washington. Do not agree at all. Just not as athletic … and didn’t get up as high and caught Spencer on the arm.

Another example of embarrassing SEC officiating.
