Texas Tech students were in the arena ready for action more than two hours before tonight’s game against Kentucky.

Texas Tech coach Chris Beard on the big screen asking fans to start a new tradition: stand from the opening tip until the opponent scores its first basket — and then again to open the second half. Then basically tells them to shame anyone who asks them to sit down. I like Beard.
