Texas A&M just upset No. 7 LSU 74-72 in 7 overtimes (not a misprint). The game ties as the longest Division I college football game in history.
The combined total of 146 is also the most points ever scored in an SEC game.

It appeared that LSU won the game in regulation, but (as they often do) officials stole a victory from the Tigers:
A&M wins. And LSU might get knocked out of a New Years Six Bowl because the replay booth was asleep at the wheel on an obvious fourth down stop in regulation. Bravo, @SEC

Texas A&M wins in 7 OTs. And the craziest part is LSU should've won in regulation if the replay booth wasn't napping on 4th & 18.
