Georgia just lost a game at Texas A&M because of an error by the clock operator.
The Bulldogs had the ball, down 1 point, with only seconds to go.
J.J. Frazier glanced at the clock and noticed that he had almost 6 seconds to go so he fed the ball to the post. A foul was called and the Bulldogs appeared ready to tie or win the game at the free throw line.
After the play, however, it was determined that the clock froze on 5.6 seconds.
After a review, referees determined that time should have expired and ruled that the game was over…Texas A&M won 63-62.
Instead of sitting at 5-2 in the SEC, Georgia is now at 4-3 and well out of the hunt for first place.
This loss could very well keep Georgia out of the NCAA Tournament come March.
Controversy w/ clock at end of came cost Georgia 2 ft to win. Texas A&M wins by 1. Tough loss for for a bubble team

Terrible. Just terrible – on a lot of levels. Final – Texas A&M 63, Georgia 62

Understand it's the rule, but the way that clock error decides the game in Georgia/Texas A&M is not right. Shouldn't end the game.

Texas A&M comes back to beat Georgia in College Staton. If you haven't seen the ending, YouTube it. Clock just stopped. UNREAL finish.

“It’s manna from heaven,” Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy said of the ending of today’s game.
