Former Kentucky star Terrence Jones spent last night in a Houston-area hospital after suffering an apparent rib injury in a win over the Nuggets. Jones had to leave the game following a hard collision with Denver’s Kenneth Faried (see video below).
The Houston Rockets have now confirmed that Jones’ injury is a little worse than expected. Tests have revealed that Jones suffered a partially collapsed lung.
McHale confirms Terrence Jones out with pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung). Will be reevaluated in a week.
