Tennessee’s Grant Williams is looking forward to his first opportunity to play at Kentucky’s Rupp Arena.
Williams told the media over the weekend that Tennessee respects the history of Rupp, where the Volunteers haven’t won since 2006.
Check out his comments:
“It’s my first time ever playing there, so watching as a kid, you want to play in there,” Williams said. “Playing now that we’re in the SEC, you respect it, but you have to get the job done, no matter what arena you play in.
“These guys are going to be ready for us because we beat them last time and it was only by two points, so I’m sure they think that shouldn’t have happened. so we have to go in there ready to play because they’re going to come out fighting and we have to do the same thing.”
