It has been reported that Tennessee assistant basketball coach Adam Howard has resigned due to personal reasons.
Tennessee men’s basketball coach Adam Howard, who has worked with Vols head coach Donnie Tyndall for the past five years, resigned Monday night for “personal reasons,” according to the UT sports information department.
Howard, who worked for Tyndall at Morehead State, Southern Mississippi and Tennessee, is believed to have played a role in events that led to the ongoing NCAA probe of the Tyndall and his staff’s time in Hattiesburg.
NCAA investigators were in Knoxville last week to speak with Tyndall, Tyndall’s lawyers and perhaps others in the Tennessee program who were with Tyndall at Southern Miss, multiple sources have confirmed to GoVols247.

It will be interesting to see what else, if anything, will happen after this abrupt resignation.
