Former Kentucky power forward Tai Wynyard was named Hoops Agents Player of the Week in New Zealand earlier this week.
Wynyard, who played for Kentucky from 2016-18, had a double-double of 35 points and 14 rebounds in Rams 90-86 loss to Jets.

24-year old Tai Wynyard (208-C/F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Rams and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 14 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Jets (#8, 1-2) 90-86. Rams maintains the 5th position in New Zealand league. Rams is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 1st lost game this season out of 2 games. In the team’s last game Wynyard had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Rams and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. University of Kentucky graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wynyard is in league’s top in points (6th best: 22.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 60.6% FGP.
