Ayton finished with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Former Murray State point guard Cameron Payne led the suns with a career-high 29 points and 9 assists.
Devin Booker took a shot to the nose, but still managed 20 points on a tough shooting night (5-16 FG). He spent a large portion of the game with bloody nose following an incidental headbutt by Patrick Beverly.
