Stephen Johnson Earns ESPN Helmet Sticker

Kentucky quarterback Stephen Johnson has been tabbed as one the SEC’s best performers for his stellar play in Kentucky’s upset win over Louisville Saturday afternoon.

Johnson completed 16-27 passes for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns. Johnson also ran for 83 yards on 8 carries.




QB Stephen Johnson, Kentucky: Johnson saved his best for the Wildcats’ biggest game, passing for 338 yards and three touchdowns (on completions of 75 and 63 yards to Garrett Johnson and 35 to Dorian Baker) and rushed for 83 yards in the upset of Louisville. Johnson also led the game-winning drive that started when Courtney Love recovered a Lamar Jackson fumble at the Kentucky 10 with 1:45 to play. The Wildcats’ Austin MacGinnis hit a 47-yard field goal with 12 seconds left and Kentucky won 41-38.
