Special teams coordinator and safeties coach Craig Naivar is leaving Kentucky to accept a job at Houston, a source confirmed to The Cats’ Pause Thursday morning. Naivar joined UK in March after serving three seasons as Texas State’s defensive coordinator and safeties coach. He previously worked with new Houston head coach Tom Herman at Sam Houston State, Texas State and Rice. Naivar is a Texas native and has spent the majority of his coaching career in the Lone Star State.
