ESPN analysts Seth Greenberg came to John Calipari’s defense this morning on social media.
“I get a kick out of local media taking shots at John Calipari,” Greenberg said in a message directed at Kentucky’s local media. “The guy has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country. It seems like they have an agenda and want him to fail.”
Check out his comments:
I get a kick out of local media taking shots at @UKCoachCalipari The guy has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country. It seems like they have an agenda and want him to fail. Known the guy for 40 years that won’t happen. @KentuckyMBB will be just fine. No collective real NIL

For all the @KentuckyMBB fans you might want to go back and actually see when they play poorly what I have said. Never a agenda. They play poorly I say it and why. See when you don’t have an agenda like others it’s easy

Covid year @KentuckyMBB had no shot. No team building not extra individual practices learning how to compete. . Same thing as @DukeMBB that year. Impossible for programs that year that relied on freshman. The loss to the year after brutal. Just a fact.

Beleive me they won’t have 7 players. Fwiw you need 8 contributing players and a few developing guys. https://t.co/VBZmWiTvkq
