A second Tennessee men’s basketball player has tested positive for COVID-19.
The positive test was confirmed by the school’s athletic department spokesman:
A second Tennessee men’s basketball player has tested positive for COVID-19, athletic department spokesman Tom Satkowiak confirmed Tuesday.
The second case comes after the athletic department reported the first positive test on Friday. The two men’s basketball players are the only Vols athletes who are known to have tested positive for COVID-19.
The two athletes who tested positive are in quarantine, Satkowiak said.
The athletes were not identified.
