In one of the more bizarre pieces of officiating that you’ll see all season, the referees in the Tennessee vs. Kentucky game decided to call unsportsmanlike conduct on every player who was in uniform for both teams.
That’s right, they slapped roughly 150 players with unsportsmanlike conduct after a minor skirmish in the first half.
The bizarre decision eventually led to four ejections for players who picked up a second penalty later in the game:
