Baylor head coach Scott Drew turned down Kentucky this morning as the Wildcats continue to search for a new head coach.
Shortly after news circulate that Drew was no longer interested he put out a brief statement on social media.
“In our program, we strive to put Jesus first, then others, then ourselves,” the statement read. “We truly believe God has called my family and I to continue our work here at Baylor, surrounded by the best people and community anyone could be blessed to have.”

Despite reports to the contrary, Keith Farmer of LEX 18 reported this afternoon that no offer was ever made to Drew:
According to my sources, Baylor’s Scott Drew was never offered the job. He was asked to consider the job and, after sleeping on it last night, he has declined interest in coming to Kentucky. #BBN
