Scott County used a huge performance by Trent Gilbert as they held off Perry Central in the Summer High School State Tournament at the KBA this evening.
Gilbert finished with 37 points in the Cardinals 68-58 win over their 14th region foe.
The 6’2″ shooting guard had 11 points in the 4th quarter to seal the victory.
Perry Central was led in scoring by Justin Johnson’s 24 points and Braxton Beverly’s 22.
