Williams was notably absent for much of the second half of Kentucky’s win over Missouri. It was then reported that he did not appear happy after the game. Head coach Mark Stoops said he planned to meet with Williams and the situation would be handled internally.

Rumors of Boom Williams leaving the UK football team are simply not true. Not even sure where that started, because it'd be nuts.

My take on the situation is that Williams is an emotional kid who was likely upset following the Missouri game. I personally think cooler heads will prevail and all will be well moving forward.
