Has the Kentucky men’s basketball program officially hit rock bottom?
The Wildcats ran into a buzz saw in Tuscaloosa this afternoon, losing to No. 7 Alabama 78-52 (that’s not a typo).
There isn’t much that can be said about this one. Antonio Reeves came off the bench to score 20 points. Sahvir Wheeler added 15 points.

Oscar Tshiebwe, the returning national player of the year, had 4 points and 6 rebounds…and was beaten badly in the paint several times by Alabama players on the other end.
Cason Wallace finished with 2 points on 1-for-13 shooting. Jacob Toppin scored 3 points on 1-for-10 shooting.
Tshiebwe, Toppin and Wallace were 3-for-30 from the field today for a combined 9 points. As a team, Kentucky shot 28.8%.
Kentucky is now 10-5 on the season and 1-2 in conference play.
