Over the past few weeks, the name Robert Hubbs has been thrown around as far as Kentucky recruiting goes. Sure enough, the Dyer County star junior has confirmed the rumors, and UK is showing primary interest.
Hubbs lists Memphis, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Murray State, along with Kentucky.
“I like Arkansas’ style and how they get up and down the floor,” he mentioned.
People have said Hubbs is not quite on the same level as other top 2013 prospects, but over the past few months, the junior has received several praises about his rapid development. I think his development is obvious with Kentucky getting involved.
Unlike most, Hubbs is very content with the recruiting process right now. He hasn’t really set a time as to when he hopes to commit, but he did point out that he will be paying attention to who graduates/leaves early. In short, early playing time is a big thing to him.
This is definitely a guy to keep an eye on in the next year. You never know what could happen.
