Rick Pitino is making the rounds this week to promote his new book.
Today, Pitino was on with Mike Francesa for an hour. During the interview, Pitino claimed he would have taken Louisville to the Final Four last season (I’m sure David Padgett loves hearing those comments from his former coach).
Pitino also claimed that his coaching career is likely over and the book was written to bring closure to his career.
“Mike, I’ll lay my hand on the Bible…I knew nothing,” Pitino stated about some of the alleged behavior that took place on his watch at Louisville.
