Rick Barnes benched star player Chaz Lanier a few plays into the second half of Saturday’s win at Texas.
After the game, Barnes explained why he sent Lanier to the bench.
“I told him, I said, ‘if you’re not going to do what you’re getting paid to do, you sit over here,'” Barnes explained. “Cause he is getting paid to do that.”
