Former Kentucky guard and state agricultural commissioner Richie Farmer will be released from prison on Friday.
Farmer was originally sentenced to 27 months in federal prison. He has been in a West Virginia prison since March 2014.
According to LEX18.com:
The former UK great and state agricultural commissioner will be released from jail on Friday.
He will be picked up by his parents and taken to a halfway house in Lexington.
Richard Farmer told LEX 18 he doesn’t know if Richie will stay there, or if he’ll be able to go home right away.
