Former UK star and longtime NBA veteran Rex Chapman isn’t buying the Lakers’ “sore groin” excuse for Lonzo Ball last night.
Chapman believes Ball might have had a little case of “De’Aaron Fox-itis”.
Far too soon for @ZO2_ to be sitting out with a case of @swipathefox -itis.😏💪🏽☝🏽🏀👑 #BBN @KentuckyMBB

In college there's no name for it. In the @nba "resting a sore groin" vs an old nemesis is code for "I have De'Aaron Fox-itis". https://t.co/3U9SmVzlD0

So possibly not a sore groin for @ZO2_ tonight in @NBASummerLeague vs @swipathefox . Say he may left his shoes at the hotel. And his balls.

BS aside – @ZO2_ is the real deal. Unless crippled tonite tho, you gotta at least give it a go. On pure principle.

The thing about the @NBA is when @ZO2_ doesn't play – a guy you've never heard of before named #AlexCaruso can come in & bust your ass.
